Welcome to Moore Training Solutions
Moore Training Solutions (MTS) is a specialist training provider for social housing providers nationally. It started in 2006 under the name of dWAL. Courses and workshops include Mental Health and Learning Disability in Housing Management, Understanding Hate Crime, Practical Skills for Lone Working, Dealing with Threats of Suicide and Tackling and Dealing with Hoarding Disorder, in addition to basic to advanced training and consultancy on all aspects of diversity and inclusion.
Equality, diversity and inclusion is closely related to safeguarding and MTS constantly updates its content to include such issues as modern slavery and the Prevent Duty tackling extremism and radicalisation.
Training & Consultancy
No two MTS courses are identical as each is tailored to the client’s needs and take account of their associated policies and procedures, to make them totally relevant to participants.
Hoarding is a costly and resource-intensive problem for social housing providers. Recognised as a mental illness and with that comes protection for the hoarder in terms of enforcement action.
MTS is owned and run by Jack Moore. Jack is a nationally respected equality, diversity, inclusion trainer and consultant with loyal public and private sector clients. Jack had a successful career in housing prior to setting up his specialist training consultancy.
Our sincere wish is that our working relationship is not a one-off; but a long term productive and cost effective partnership tailor made specifically for your business and employment needs. Contact us to discuss an arrangement.
Why use MTS?
MTS is 100% social housing focused and prides itself in removing the “fear factor” and “tick-box attitude” often associated with equality, diversity and inclusion. With over 20 years housing experience and a personality you can relate to, Jack Moore is hugely respected in his field.
Following a successful housing career, with a BA(Hons) in Housing, Jack is principal diversity trainer for (and a Fellow of) the Chartered Institute of Housing, in addition to running MTS. He is an affiliate of the Institute of Equality & Diversity Practitioners. He is also an assessor for various awarding bodies from Level 1 to Level 5 on equality and diversity.
With a successful social housing background and an understanding of the variety of client groups, I have the proven ability to put theory into real-life housing related scenarios and examples.
